AFO Closed Toe Walker Ankle Brace

The Closed Toe Walker is part of our “Specialty Collection” and is a combination of our Standard and Tall styles and a custom molded shoe. For those cases where an AFO and a custom molded shoe is indicated, this style puts them together as one. It features a custom molded multi-density removable insole.

The Closed Toe Walker is indicated for those patients who experience any of the symptoms listed to the right.

Indicated for:

Abnormally sized and/or shaped feet and ankles in conjunction with the indications listed for the standard and tall style Arizona AFO shown below:

PTTD (Posterior Tibial Tendon Dysfunction)

Talocalcaneal vargus or valgus

Tibialis tendonitis (posterior of anterior)

Severe pronation or pes planus

Ankle arthritis or DJD (Degenerative Joint Disease)

Charcot foot

Ankle, subtalar or midtarsal trauma

Chronic Achilles tendonitis
